Due to the laser cutting process, patch size may vary by +/- 5%. Approximately 1.5mm thick (may vary).

Minimum Text Size:

Smallest character should be at least 1mm high.

Minimum Elements Size:

Elements on leather emblems must be at least 0.3mm width.

Backing:

  • Low melt Heat Seal
  • Pressure Sensitive

Limitations

Low melt - Recommended application for thicker materials, such as jackets, and hats that can withstand a heat press and 320° F. Not recommended for use on materials that may be heat sensitive (ex: some nylons, silk, some plastics, leather, wool, fleece, etc.) or for weather-treated materials, due to chemicals used that do not allow the emblems to adhere properly.
Pressure-sensitive -
Recommended application is on flat, non-textured surfaces, including glass, plastic, wood, and metal. Not recommended for application on surfaces that may contain an oil finish, such as silicon, Teflon™, rough fabrics, or outdoor goods.

Washing Information:

Faux Leather Patches will withstand at least 25 domestic washing machine cycles.

Shelf Life:

One year shelf life before applying (room temperature-controlled environment).

Application Instructions

Low Melt Backing with a Top Heat Press - Garments

  1. Set press to 315-325°F for top heat with 70-80 psi of pressure.
  2. Ensure application location is wrinkle-free and place garment onto press.
  3. Place patch onto desired location on garment. Thermal Tape is optional.
  4. Over a FlexStyle® Silicone Pad, turn around garment and load into the heat press.
  5. Press for 12-18 seconds.
  6. Remove garment from press and allow to cool.

Low Melt Heat Seal on Hats - Using the 360 IQ™ Hat Heat Press

  1. Set press to 245°-255°F for top heat and 315°- 320°F for bottom heat with 60-80 psi of pressure.
  2. Place hat on heat press, leaving out the inner layer of the cap. Use adjustment lever for a better grip.
  3. Place emblem onto desired location. To secure the emblem and prevent it from moving, use Thermal Tape.
  4. Press for 10-15 seconds.
  5. Deactivate the adjustment lever and remove the hat from the heat press.
  6. Remove Thermal Tape once the patch has cooled.
